Orders and Payments

Philosophy Store uses third-party tools for payment processing and does not in any way come into contact with payment data - such as those relating to the credit card - provided. Any management costs of non-accepted payments by the User will be charged to the User.

1 The products offered for sale by the Philosophy Store are only those present on the philosophystore.it  website at the time the Order is placed, as described in the relative information sheets.

2 In any case, it is understood that the images accompanying the description of a product are for informational purposes only and may not be perfectly representative of its characteristics but may differ, e.g. by color and size (also due to the browser and monitor used to access the site and view the images).

3 In order to place an Order, the Customer must complete the relative form on the Site in its entirety and send it after having carefully read the Conditions, as well as the characteristics of the product and/or products he intends to purchase. The Customer must also ask Philosophy Store , if desired, to issue a tax invoice relating to the purchase, pursuant to art. 22 Presidential Decree n. 633/1972.

4 Correct receipt of the Order is confirmed by Philosophy Store by means of an e-mail reply, sent to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. 

This confirmation message will summarize the purchase conditions, as required by the applicable legislation, as well as the data entered in the Order by the Customer, so that the same can verify the same and possibly communicate the necessary corrections of incorrect data without delay.

CREDIT CARD

At the time of purchase, customers enter their credit card details in a secure electronic banking system, provided by Shopify Payments .

It is possible to make purchases via ( Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard, Postepay, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Bancontact, iDeal ), and others specified based on the country of origin and the services offered by the supplier for the country of origin

All orders will be processed within 2/5 working days of payment, so that the service provided by Shopify Payment can proceed to verify the payment and ownership of the card in order to avoid unauthorized, fraudulent purchases or purchases that do not respond to the Stripe circuit anti-fraud systems.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

All transactions are processed through a secure server directly on the suppliers' servers, guaranteeing Philosophy Store  customers maximum data protection. The Philosophy Store  Customer Service operators are in no way authorized to request or accept credit card numbers and/or validity details.

In order to ensure greater protection on purchases made in the e-commerce environment, Philosophy Store  recommends its customers to join the services Verified By Visa or Mastercard Securecode , requesting a PIN security code with which you can make your purchases in complete safety.

CREDIT CARD CHARGES

If the existing funds are sufficient for the purchase and the bank details provided are valid, the transaction will be processed instantly. The credit card used will be charged at the time of purchase even in the case of a pre-order although the shipment of such items takes place later in the season.

Remember: only use credit cards that you legitimately have available, you are solely responsible for the data entered.

It may happen that a credit card payment is declined. It usually happens for the following reasons:

  • the credit card has expired: contact your bank;
  • the card's credit limit has been reached: check with your bank;
  • you entered some data wrong: check that you have provided us with all the correct information.



PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUT

By choosing the Paypal payment method, the customer can pay directly through your Paypal account.

PayPal is an electronic wallet that allows you to pay and receive money over the internet. To use this form of payment, you must have a PayPal account linked to your current account, a credit card or a prepaid card: if you don't have one, you can easily open it by registering on the Paypal official website.

ATTENTION: Philosophy Store  reserves the right to ship the goods only to the address indicated on the account verified by Paypal.

SCALAPAY

Scalapay is an innovative payment method that allows you to purchase your products and pay in 3 comfortable equal installments with a deadline every 4 weeks.

If you buy with Scalapay, you receive your order immediately and pay in 3 installments. You acknowledge that the installments will be transferred to Incremento SPV Srl, related parties and their assignees, and that you authorize this transfer.

The service is available up to a maximum amount of 600 euros and has no additional costs if the installments are paid by the due date.

At the time of purchase you will be immediately charged the first installment (equal to one third of the total purchase value). The next 2 installments of will be charged every 4 weeks.

First installment : at the time of purchase

Second installment : 4 weeks from the day of purchase

Third and last installment : 8 weeks from the day of purchase

NEW CUSTOMERS

We would like to remind our new customers that philosophystore.it can ask their bank or Paypal to verify the transaction, including by contacting the counterparty bank. This verification could cause some delay in the shipment of the order. Philosophy Store reserves the right to ship orders to the billing address only.

TITLE RETENTION

Until full payment of the price of the products ordered, the products remain the property of the Owner or of the respective Owners and/or suppliers of the same.

ORDER EXECUTION

The Order is executed within the terms specified in the summary page and in the Order Confirmation email, subject to the availability of the ordered product. Philosophy Store cannot be held responsible for damages suffered by the User due to delays in delivery which are not dependent on circumstances foreseeable by the parties at the time the Order Confirmation is sent.
